Your event has been created. Next step: create a ticket for each (race) category, distance, or discipline of your event.
Step 1: Add tickets
Go to the Events overview and and click on the event for which you want to create a ticket. In the Ticket tab click on the Add ticket button. Enter a ticket title in the popup for example 'Participants', 'Volunteers' or '20K run' and choose a price for the ticket. Leave the price field empty when the ticket will be able for free.
Step 2: Complete the information
You have just created a ticket. Now you can edit all the extra optional details of your ticket. If you want you can add basic info like an image, a description which will be shown in the checkout and instructions that will be shown in the confirmation e-mail to your ticket.
Pricing
You can update the pricing and configure promotions. With this option you are able to set different pricings in different periods. You can use this with Early bird discounts or special season pricings. Each promotion can have it's own maximum capacity.
You can also indicate whether VAT should be charged. This VAT rate will also be applied to any promotions. Check the price breakdown to see the calcuation. If you are not able to set the VAT navigate to the Project settings and enter your VAT number if you want to charge VAT.
Groups
Sell your ticket as an individual ticket or as a group ticket.
- Single ticket: Assign each ticket to one person.
- Group ticket: Assign a ticket to multiple participants. Choose a group size and set a total price.
Teams
Can participants with your ticket create and join teams? There are 3 options:
- No teams: Everbody participates individually.
- Allow teams: Participants can either sign up individually or as a team.
- Enforce teams: Each participant must create or join a team.
Restrictions
You can enforce a maximum number of participants for your ticket. Once the number of participants is reached, sales of the ticket will automatically end.
If your ticket is only available for surtain ages you can enforce a minimum and/or maximum age for this ticket. Participant must be of this age at the start of the event. A date of birth field will be shown in the checkout.
Protect your ticket with a code so that it will be hidden in the checkout. Only people who you share the code with will be able to access and purchase it by entering the code.
Time slots
If your ticket is valid on specific days and/or times, you can indicate this. At the start of a time slot, the time slot is automatically no longer available.
