Give your participants the opportunity to resell their ticket. As an organizer, you determine for each event and each ticket whether a ticket may be resold. In this article, you can read how to enable Atleta Resale. More detailed information about the functionality can be found here.
Go to Atleta, select your event, and go to the Resale tab. Indicate whether the participant may resell their ticket via a personal link and/or if the ticket will be offered publicly. Public sales go through a form, which, like the registration form, can be embedded on your website. You can enable or disable ticket resale at any time.
The participant can now offer a ticket for sale from the participant dashboard by selecting the ticket and choosing Ticket Resale. The amount may never exceed the original selling price, and never be less than 50%. Ticket upgrades are automatically included for resale at the original selling price.
The participant checks the overview and sees the amount that will be refunded after deducting the fees. Atleta and the organizer both receive 5% of the sales amount to cover costs.
The participant can sell the ticket directly to a friend or colleague or offer the ticket on the public sales page.
Public sales go through a form, which, like the registration form, can be embedded on your website. You can find this link on the embed page in Atleta or by going to the Resale subpage.
The ticket can be purchased by clicking on "Buy Ticket" and filling in all the required fields. After payment, the new participant will receive the standard confirmation email with a brand new ticket. The original purchaser will receive an email confirming that the ticket has been sold. Their ticket is no longer valid and will disappear from the participant dashboard. The seller will automatically receive the money back within a few days via the payment method used.
